More Summer Pictures

A New Season

Today Joel is starting 2ND grade and Gracie is starting 1st grade. Seth and I have decided to send them to school this year instead of home schooling. We have prayed and prayed over this decision and feel this where the Lord is directing us for the time being. It has been so amazing to see God's hand in all of this and how many prayers we have seen answered through this. I will be staying home with Chloe and Ella. Where I will be homeschooling Chloe preschool.

Summer full of fun!

We had such a blessed summer! We did all sorts of wonderful things. We played in the sprinkler more than we can count, played in the park with friends, and took bike rides.
Saw our Aunt and cousins from Hawaii. Went to Grandma and Grandpa's farm and played with our cousins, fished, road the three wheeler, ate fire roasted marshmallow's, took a bunch of nature walks, and enjoyed rowing down the stream on Grandpa's boat.
Then we saw our Aunt, Uncle, and cousins from Michigan. We enjoyed three beautiful days of playing, eating, and playing till we dropped.

A Beautiful Day

Today we are celebrating Gracie's 6th birthday. We have been so blessed by her and praise God for every moment. We wait in anticipation for what God is going to do in her life.

So Sweet.

The other night I told Joel and Gracie to go to bed and look at books before going ot sleep. About 15 minutes passed and I went to check on them. I walked into Joel's room and there they were already asleep! Reading really is the best medicine.

Shopping for some Mocha!

Chloe absolutely loves our Mocha. She wants her to go everywhere with her. This is her simple solution. Mocha though seems to not mind!

Easter Sunday

We had such a blessed Sunday. We went to church and then that afternoon spent the rest of the day at Aunt Beth's and Uncle Bobby's house. Where we enjoyed visiting and the kids enjoyed playing with some of their cousins.

One Crazy Night.....

Friday February 15th started off as your average day. Did school with Joel, house hold chores, and keeping up with the kids. Seth, the kids, and I were going home to my parents house for the weekend. So the plan was to leave around 6:00. It was around 5:45 I was all packed and ready. Our suitcases were by the door ready to be loaded. Seth and I were just getting ready to load up the kids when Ella started to projectile vomit. We cleaned up Ella and the mess and were discussing what to do, when Gracie and Chloe came up to fighting and crying. Joel was using the restroom and started screaming as well. The toilet was overflowing and the water was pouring into the basement. Ella started vomiting again! Our dog was going crazy. Seth and I could not believe what was happening. Everything was falling apart around us. The only thing that Seth and I could do was to laugh cause we had to give some sort of emotion. We made it through the night one step at a time and lived to tell about it. Our decision to leave that night was made for us and left the next morning for my parents. Where we had a wonderful stay with them in spite of having sick kids. I was happy to have the help.

Mocha

This is our new puppy Mocha. She is so laid back and will let you do pretty much anything with her. She is such a joy and delight to have. I'm looking forward to house training part becoming a distant memory though.

Ella

Ella is so bright. Her personality is exploding all over the place! Her love in life is babies and Dora the explorer. She is so observant and thinks that she is just as big as us all. Really in her mind there is nothing holding her back.

Chloe

Chloe is our vibrant live wire! She is such a sweetheart. Chloe spends her days playing with our new puppy Mocha and coloring. Her heart is so big and her compassion it teaches me so much. She truly brings us such joy.

Gracie

Gracie is blossoming into a lady. She is learning her letters and numbers, and meeting so many new friends at school. I can see God doing so much in her. He is truly answering our prayers.

Joel

Our Joel has been turning
into such a little man. He is reading everything in sight, lossing teeth, and exploring a new found love legos. Joel wants to grow up to be a dentist and an astronaut. We'll see how that turns out.
